Amazing Radio dedicate a day to previewing one of Europe’s most important new music festivals. We’ll be announcing the first wave of artists playing The Great Escape Festival this year as well as featuring their music throughout the day.

Charlie Ashcroft kicks things off at 10 am with a special hour of music from some of the most exciting acts playing the seaside shindig. Then join Greg Porter from 3pm when he’ll be speaking to Kat, Operations Manager for The Great Escape Festival. She’ll be telling us exactly what to expect in Brighton between the 10th – 12th of May. And if you’ve missed any of the announcements, Gill Mills has a Great Escape Festival special this evening from 7pm.

Thursdays will never be the same again. Tune in from 10pm as Mike Taylor launches his new show fresh out of Austin, Texas! Besides being the epicentre of one of the biggest celebrations of new music; SXSW, Austin is home to our newest new music evangelist. With a CV covering college radio, ‘The Future of Rock & Roll’ at Cincinnati’s ‘WOXY’ and giving North American session debuts to ‘Foals’ and ’65daysofstatic’, Mike knows exactly what he’s doing.

Mike puts it best when he says “Listeners can expect my show to be a guided tour of new releases, discoveries, and under appreciated artists they need to know about.”
