Azealia Banks
Azealia Banks has been ripping up the UK with a track that literally drips with cuss words (we know, we had to do a radio edit). Hype-inducing swears aside, 212 is a menacing rap assault which we hope is indicative of what’s to come.
Currently working with Florence & the Machine producer, Paul Epworth, the 20 year-old is more than just a rapper with a deep dirty vocabulary. Check out this cover of Interpol’s Slow Hands. We’ve become completely enamoured.
Hype can be a dangerous thing, but if anyone can surf it without imploding it’s Azealia Banks. Spewing confidence as bold as her rhymes, we’re expecting huge things from her in 2012.
